The Pomeranian’s coat needs combing and trimming once a week.
Poms are heavy shedding dog breeds, which turns into matting
and tangling. Male Poms blow their coat once a year and females twice a year, and they can look pretty patchy.  It will grow back fast enough. Brush the coat with a slicker or pin brush – I like to comb mine, starting at the hind legs. I use a wide tooth comb and tease out any tangles. It will keep their hair from tangling and stop loose hair from being all over your house.  Also comb out your little one before you bath. Be careful not to brush too often as you can damage the undercoat, we find that a comb is much better. Also while you are loving and petting  your little one at night you can comb a little at a time on their body every day. They love the attention.
